Ma'Ceo Circus by Cavallo

This European Circus act offers a high-energy, gypsy themed acrobatics and equestrian stunt show. This act is truly a unique experience that features Cossack Trick Riding, Roman riding, Dressage, and Classic Bareback Riding. The show exhibits 6 beautiful breeds of exotic horses. It is all set to the captivating sound of Spanish Gypsy music and elaborate costumes. Be amazed at this full enclosed circus tents with over 800 spectators at a time.

Sea Lion Splash

The only traveling, self-contained sea lion show. Sea Lion Splash is a unique show that will have you cheering, laughing and is educational with a Splash. The sea lions will amaze you as they balance balls, shoot hoops, dance, perform handstands, and show their pretty smiles.

Kachunga & the Alligator Show

From deep in the swamps of Florida comes Kachunga, a real American Bushman who dares to step foot into the wet domain of the alligator. Watch in astonishment as he apprehends a ferocious man-eating reptile with his bare hands.

Location: Pavilion Lot, South end of the Food Court
Daily at: 1:00 pm, 3:30 pm, and 6:15 pm

State Fair Sensory Station
The new “New Mexico State Fair Sensory Station” will provide a safe space for our sensory sensitive and special needs fair guests to de-escalate, and provides low-key and helpful sensory input activities. In addition to sensory input activities, there will be regular visits with the kids from the State Fair Ambassadogs (therapy dogs) and meet and greets with the State Fair queen.

In addition to the active involvement of the autism society, several other organizations and individuals have stepped up to volunteer their time and expertise at the Sensory Station.

Innovation Station S.T.E.A.M

Innovation Station features hands-on, immersive experiences that take visitors of all ages on an epic journey through the worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.

Through hair-raising demonstrations, high-speed challenges and interactive exhibits, visitors will not only become inspired to innovate and create, but they will walk away ready to experience and explore this wonderful world of ours in a whole new way.

Magician Sheldon Casavant

Magician Sheldon Casavant is thrilling crowds nationwide! Come see the light-hearted, high energy interactive show for all ages. Become part of the action as borrowed items vanish and reappear, objects brought to life, comedy that entertains, minds read and people called on stage to perform impossible feats. The next one on stage might be you?

Chef Ray Duey

Culinary artist Chef Ray L. Duey, is nothing short of amazing when it comes to food sculpting. To call him an artist is an understatement at best. Chef Ray is known for taking any fruit or vegetable and turning the ordinary into something extraordinary. Come see his carving show and the spectacular pieces on display.

Duck Races

Watch the huge crowds of people gather to see these webbed footed and winged friends race to the end! You will be amazed as you watch them wobble their way to the finish line. Will your favorite feathered furry be the winner?

Conjurer Fortune Machine

Conjurer is a classic automated fortune machine, just like from the Tom Hanks film, Big. Is the conjurer a live character actor or is it a machine, come see and decide for yourself.

Street Drum Corps

World Famous “Street Drum Corp” will be drumming up high energy acts daily at the 2017 NM State Fair. This unique industrial percussion act will bang on anything to create rhythm and music to get you moving to the beat of “their own” drum! This group has toured the world and has taken on honorary members such as Motley Crews Tommy Lee, Actor Jeremy Piven, Chili Peppers Chad Smith and even Guns and Roses Matt Sorum.

Great American Petting Zoo

The Great American Petting Zoo is a unique attraction as there are no barriers inside the petting zoo. This allows the kids to get up close and personal experience with the cute and cuddly animals of all kinds. Feel free to touch and see what a truly unique hands on animal exhibit the petting zoo really is.

Great American Pig Races

Cheech has brought a few of his friends for some fair time fun! They are faster than a chicken, chubbier than a goat – round, cute and built for speed. Here come the Pigs! The latest racers to hit the Great American Speedway, each exciting educational show includes four heats featuring audience participation, pig trivia, and prizes for the winning cheerleaders. Pick out your favorite porcine pacer and root for them!

The Great American Pony Rides

The Great American Pony Rides is the most unique pony-rides you will ever have. Appropriately named “The Living Carousel”, the colorful tent top revolves as the ponies walk around and around. This has been a fair favorite for years and continues to excite families and fair goers alike.

Pee-Wee Stampede

Ready for a good ole’ fashion cowboy round-up? Grab your boots and your spurs and getting ready to saddle up on your stick horse? Yes your stick horse…The Pee-Wee Stampede is an interactive kid’s activity where even the littlest cowboys and gals can show off their hats while having fun and learning all about the cowboy way of life.

Closed on Thursday, September 14th and Friday, September 15th
36 feet Water Slide

Make sure to bring a towel to beat the heat at the New Mexico State Fair with this 36 feet tall water slide!

Canine Barrel Racing

Come meet and greet these amazing rescue canines that roam around cones and head for the finish line, only for treat of course! This canine group spends their days loving, caring and giving hope to dogs that have not been given a chance in the real world. With their dedicated team of volunteers they are making these pups dreams come true!
