The New Mexico State Fair and Rodeo is proud to announce the 2024 National Anthem Auditions. We are accepting virtual and in-person auditions.
Eight selected winners will perform the National Anthem for the 2024 New Mexico State Fair concert/rodeo series.
Sunday, August 4th, 2024: ALL Application & Virtual Auditions Deadline
Monday, August 5th, 2024: In-Person Audition Day @ NMSF Boxcar Stage
Auditions will be held 5:00pm - 8:00pm
The performers must be willing and able to perform publicly at the New Mexico State Fair, September 5 – 15, 2024.
Individuals or groups of all ages can audition; performing groups may not have more than 4 members. In-Person Audition and Event Performances - Expo will provide one microphone on one boom stand.
A panel of judges selected by the New Mexico State Fair will review all eligible entries according to the following criteria: Overall Appeal of Performance, Accuracy of Lyrics, and Accuracy of Melody.
Each winner will receive two (2) tickets to the New Mexico State Fair in September 5-15, 2024, on the day for which they are performing at the rodeo/concert.
