Pathways to College and Careers Day- September 16
Students should take advantage of this excellent opportunity to meet and talk with college and trade school recruiters. Dozens of schools and institutions of higher learning will provide valuable information to students, parents, and teachers, including UNM, NMSU, CNM, and other higher education institutions throughout the state.

Information
Start time: 9:00AM End time: 3:00PM
Setup time: 6:30AM – 8:00AM – if you cannot be at the fairgrounds before 8:00AM, you will not be allowed to proceed to the main event. There will be no forms to register at the event. Please contact Mia Candelaria directly for registration. Please email your registration form by August 1, 2026
All entrants go to Gate 3 – San Pedro & Copper. (San Pedro & Copper –approach from Central) (other vehicles will park in designated lots 1, 8)
Supply your own table (1), chairs, canopy, weights for canopy plus one (1) transportation vehicle per vendor. [there are some exceptions per NMSF]
There are some pre-assigned areas, but mostly it is a first-come first-served arrangement.
Promotional items - Avoid stuffed animals that would be sold or given away as prizes by fair vendors. Small promotional items are allowed.
All vendor vehicles parked on Main Street face north and all vendor vehicles parked on Heritage Avenue face west. You may bring food and beverages for yourselves but may not serve fair attendees.
Selling anything is prohibited.
No staking of pavement or grass.
Please do not walk away and leave your display unattended.
Please do not pack up early or leave early. Approx: before 3pm NMHED staff will communicate the exit instructions. Exit north when instructed – Escorted by New Mexico State Police.
